Protocol Servers was established in May 2009 and offers a full range of premium game and voice server solutions. Dedicated hosting is also available for individuals and organisations requiring that little bit more power and flexibility.

Hardware

All of our game servers run on machines with a minimum specification of Intel Core2Quad processors and 4GB of RAM, coupled with 10,000RPM hard drives to guarantee optimal performance and hit registration.

Operating System

Our servers run Windows Server 2008, providing a stable and high performance platform for game servers.

Server Loading

We do not overload our machines by running too many game servers on them. The maximum number of game servers on each is limited by a ceiling of 75% potential CPU load, ensuring 100% is never reached.
